Web Admin Menu Bar Settings

The Web Admin’s Menu bar provides a variety of settings that allows you to configure its interface whenever you’re logged into your website. Once selected, the configuration you’ve chosen stays in place until you change it manually by right-clicking on the Menu bar or when you close your Web Admin session.

The best part about this is that whatever change you make won’t permanent. If other users log in, they will once again get to see the default configuration for your site’s Web Admin. The users then get the benefit of selecting the configuration that will suit their needs.

Accessing the Menu Interface

The various menu bar interface can be accessed by clicking on the drop-down arrow located on the upper right section of the Menu tab.

Once you select a new interface, that setting automatically loads. The current default setting for your menu is the Dockable interface.

The Different Menu Interface

Listed below are the different menu interfaces you can choose from:

Floating

The Floating interface allows you to move the main Menu window and any windows that are open around the screen. With this interface, you’re not constrained to having the menu navigation set only to the left side of your screen. The Floating interface also allows you to re-size any of the windows that are currently active.

Dockable

The Dockable setting serves as the default interface for your site’s Web Admin. Here, all the main navigation menus are placed on top of one another. Clicking on a main navigation closes the other menus automatically and displays the selected navigation menus and its sub-categories at the top of the column.

Tabbed Document

The Tabbed Document interface makes your Menu bar a part of the main window area of your Web Admin, instead of being a separate navigation area. Opening a menu is similar to the Dockable interface wherein the new menu opens up top once the old one closes. Should one of the features be opened, it automatically appears as part of the tabs list, beside the Menu and Tool box tabs.

Auto Hide

The Auto Hide interface allows you to set your menu to hide automatically once it’s not in use. The menu is placed on the left side of the screen and can be opened by clicking on the Menu tab. The navigation menu can still be set in place during this setting by clicking on the Pin icon located beside the drop-down arrow in the Menu bar.
