Content Browser - Page Templates

The Page tab found in IBOS’ Content Editor tool offers a number of features that can help you brand and optimize your web pages. These tools include:

  • Page Template
  • SEO Description
  • SEO Keywords

Page Templates

Page templates can be used to "brand" and customize your page’s overall appearance. These templates not only change the layout of each page but also the elements that will appear on it.

To view the list of available Page Templates that you can use, open a page in your Content Browser and select the Page tab. Click the Page Template drop-down menu to see the list of templates available for your website:

  • Empty
  • HomePage
  • HomePageMain
  • IBOSAccount
  • Main

  • Main1ColCentered
  • Main2Col

Depending on the page template you select, each one can display different layout designs and information. If you want your website to have a 2-column spread, simply select the Main2Col page template.

If you want your page to display the advertisements you created, you may use any of the following: Store Category, Product List, or Product Detail.

A page that’s printer-friendly on the other hand can be set up using the Product Catalog Printer.

SEO Description and SEO Keywords Fields

The Page tab also contains two fields which you can utilize for your search engine optimization (SEO) campaign – SEO Description and SEO Keywords.

SEO Description – The SEO Description field allows you to input an optimized description for the page you’re creating. Depending on your optimization strategy, this can play a role in making the page become more visible online.

SEO Keywords – The SEO Keyword field lets you input numerous keywords to optimize the page you’re building. Whenever you type in a group of keywords, make sure that they’re separated by a comma to ensure that they can be read properly by search engines.
