Content Editor - Flash Manager

The Flash Manager feature gives you the ability to add an Adobe Flash file (.swf) into your website’s content pages. This eliminates the hassle of having to embed the file manually using HTML.

To insert a Flash file into your web page, go to your website’s Content Explorer and open an existing page or create a new one. Once inside the page’s Content Editor, click the Flash Manager button to bring up the Flash Manager window.

The Flash Manager window gives you two options when it comes to inserting a Flash file. You can go through the existing folders currently available on your site to look for the .SWF file or you can upload the file from your computer.

To insert an existing file, go through the directory of folders on the left side of the screen to open the folder containing your Flash file. If you prefer to upload the file from your computer, click the Upload button.

If you prefer to upload the file from your computer, click the Upload button under the Flash Manager header.

In the Upload window, click the Select button and look for the Flash file in your computer’s directory. If you plan to upload more than three files, click the Add button to insert more fields. To remove a file, click the Remove button to take it out prior to uploading. Once you’re done, click the Upload button.

After selecting or uploading the file, the Flash Manager feature gives you a number of features that will allow you to configure the .SWF file you uploaded.

You can adjust the file’s width and height, its video quality, its alignment, transparency, the background color of its container and whether you want the file to play on loop or not.

After you’ve adjusted the settings of your Flash video, click the Insert button on the lower right section of the screen to add the Flash file into your web page.
