Contractor Referral Page

The Contractor Referrals feature allows you to create a database of reputable contractors which you can recommend to your customers. Instead of going online to search for what they need, customers just have to drop by your website, search for a contractor that performs the service they’re looking for and then hire them for the job.

Aside from making this an added service which your customers will remember you by, it also allows you to establish goodwill points with the other companies you do business with.

Setting Up a Contractor Referral Page

Here are the steps you need to go through to create your Contractor Referral Page:

I. Set up Your Referral Regions and Referral Types.

Referral Region

The Referral Region refers to the location of the contractor. This can be accessed in your website’s Web Admin under the Ecommerce tab.

To create a Referral Region, just click the (+) button found on the top right portion of the screen. Type in the name of the region and click the Disk icon to save your work.

Referral Type

The Referral Type pertains to the different services that a contractor is able to provide.

Your site’s Web Admin comes with a default list of services but if you need to add some more, just click on the (+) icon located on the top right corner to save a new service to your list.

II. Configuring Your Contractor’s Customer Profile Page

After setting up your site’s Referral Regions and Types, the next step is to configure your Contractor’s profile, which can be done by through your Web Admin’s Customers feature.

When it comes to setting up a contractor, you’ll have the option to include a contractor’s company logo, the work they’ve done, any industry affiliation, licenses, contact information, and any additional images that would show off their recent works.

Logo

The Logo tab allows you to upload a logo of your contractor. Just click the Add Logo button to select the image you want to upload from your computer.

Keep in mind that the logo needs to be square-shaped before uploading. This will ensure that your logo’s size won’t be altered or scaled to fit into the allotted box frame found in the Contractor Referral page.

Profile

The Profile tab allows you to put in additional information about the contractor. This includes the company’s slogan, web address, and contact information. It also allows you to upload additional images (i.e. the contractor’s recent works) and other important details such as the contractor’s industry associations and licenses.

Lastly, the Profile tab gives you the ability to set the contractor’s Region. To set the region where the contractor is located, select the Regions tab and click the Edit button to make your selection.

Referrals

The Referral s tab allows you to set the service that the customer specializes in. The list is based on your Referral Types so whatever you set up previously will be displayed in this section.

You can set more than one Referral Type for each customer. To make a selection, click the Edit button and check the boxes of the services you want to add.
