ECommerce - Store Management - Catalogs

The Catalogs feature gives you the ability to develop brand specific and downloadable product pages, complete with your company’s logo and information, in PDF format. The feature lets you add product categories along with their corresponding items making it easier for your customers to find what they need. Plus, should they need a copy, your customers can save the catalog in their computer or have the document printed.

Accessing Your Catalogs

To access your catalogs, open your website’s Web Admin and look for the Ecommerce tab found on the left navigation panel.

Click the arrow next to the Store Management to bring down its sub-menus. Select the Catalogs link to bring up the Catalogs main window.

The Catalogs window gives you a list of the available catalogs you’ve created. To access an existing catalog, you can double-click the item you want to open or you can select the catalog and then press the Catalog Profile button at the bottom of the screen.

Adding a Catalog

If you don’t have any existing catalog and want to add one, select the Add Catalog button (+) sign on the upper right corner of the screen to bring up the Catalog Add page.

Type the name of the catalog in the Name field. You can also add a short write-up about the catalog to give your visitors an idea what they can expect when they open it. All these information will appear in your website’s Catalog page.

After typing the catalog’s name and description, check the Specific to Customers and Enabled checkboxes to ensure that the catalog is displayed on your website.

Leave the Auto Generate PDF unchecked if you prefer to create brand-specific catalogs. That feature is reserved for the PDF Catalog feature which captures your website’s entire product catalog.

Once you’ve filled up the necessary fields, click the floppy disk icon on the upper right corner to save your new catalog.

You can return to the main Catalogs page anytime by simply clicking the Return icon next to the Save icon or by clicking the “Catalogs” breadcrumb link on the upper left side of the main frame.

Deleting a Catalog

To delete an existing catalog, select the catalog you wish to delete. Click the Delete (X) button found at the upper right corner.

The system will send a message prompt to confirm if you’re sure about deleting the selected catalog. Click OK to proceed. Remember that the entire Catalog will be deleted once you click OK and cannot be retrieved.
