ECommerce - Contractor Referrals - Customer Referral Index

The Customer Referral Index displays a list of customer accounts that have been configured to be part of your Contractor Referral listing.

The index provides the following information for each referral:

• Account Number
• Account Name
• Sorting Sequence

The Customer Referral Index also contains the following search parameters to make it easy for you to look for a specific contractor in the list:

• Account Number
• Account Name
• First Name
• Last Name

The Customer Referral Index doesn’t have a feature to let you add a contractor directly. To add a contractor, you need to access your directory of Customer accounts and configure one from the list.

For a customer account to be added, you will need to set up the following sections found in the profile of the selected Customer account:

Profile Tab

In the Profile Tab, you’ll be required to configure the Content and Regions Tabs. In the Content tab, you need to add information to the Profile Summary section by typing in a short description about the contractor.

Region Tab

Once you’ve added your summary, go to the Regions tab and select the Region where your contractor is located. You can select more than one Region if your contractor happens to have more than one business location.

Removing a Customer Account from the Customer Referral Index

To remove a contractor from your Customer Referral Index, you’ll need to remove the information you placed in your customer’s Profile Summary and uncheck the Regions you selected. Once these sections have been edited, the customer account listed in your Customer Referral Index will be removed.

Referral Regions

The Referral Regions feature allows you to set up the regions where your contractor / customer accounts are located. The regions created using this feature will automatically be displayed in your website’s Contractor page and the Regions Tab in your customer’s profile in Web Admin.

Referral Types

The Referral Types displays the list of specialties and the type of work that a particular customer offers. More than one Referral Type can be assigned per customer and they can be seen in your Contractor page and your customer’s Referral tab in Web Admin.
