ECommerce - Store Management - Featured Items
The Featured Items feature gives you the ability to highlight specific products in your inventory and display them on specific product list pages of your website.
To access the Featured Items tool, go to your website’s Web Admin and click on the Ecommerce tab. In the Ecommerce tab, select the Featured Items link.
The Featured Items window lets you view existing items you’ve selected to be part of your featured items group. Here, you can add a new item or edit those that are part of the list.
Adding a Featured Item
To add a featured item, click the (+) button located at the top right section of the page.
This will bring up the Product Featured Items Add window. This page consists of four settings you need to configure: Product, Start Date, End Date, Highlight Level.
To add a product, click the Add [..] button beside the Product field. This will bring up the Products window. Select the product you want to add from the list.
After selecting your product, you’ll need to determine the duration it will be displayed on your website by setting the Start and End dates.
Once you’ve set the Start and End period of your new featured item, you’ll need to set its Highlight Level. The Highlight Level drop-down menu lists the sections of your website where your featured items can be placed. You can select the following Highlight Levels:
- Site Homepage - Featured Items appear in the home page.
- Store Homepage - Featured Items appear in the Category Home page.
- Store Category - Featured Items appear in the Category page.
- Store Product List - Featured Items appear in the Product list.
To save your new featured item, click on the disk icon found on the top right corner.
Editing a Featured Item
To edit a featured item, double-click on a product that’s currently part of your Featured Items list to access its profile.
From there, you can edit the item’s Start and End Date or change its Highlight Level. Once you’ve made your changes, click the Disk icon to save your work.
