ECommerce - Business Management - Locations - Location Profile

The Location Profile section displays pertinent information about each of your business locations. The data found in each profile page can be customized depending on your needs.

The Location Profile page is divided into two sections. The top section of the Location Profile page provides details about the location. It contains the following editable data fields:

  • Name (of your Business Location)
  • Address Line 1
  • Address Line 2
  • City
  • Region
  • State Code
  • Zip Code
  • Phone Number 1
  • Phone Number 2
  • Fax Number
  • Country Code
  • Pricing Enabled Checkbox
  • Creation Date (of the Location)
  • Primary Contact
  • WebUser Selectable Checkbox

Aside from giving you the capabilities to update the address and contact information of a specific location, this page also gives you the ability to set a location’s e-mail recipient/s. Once configured, all emails related to the following functions below will automatically be sent to the assigned e-mail address:

  • Contact Us
  • Order Placement
  • Quote Request
  • Account Registration
  • Support

The lower section of the profile page on the other hand, gives you access to the following Location Content sections:

  • Landing Page Content
  • Location Description Content
  • Contact Us Content
  • Landing Page Mobile Content
  • Location Description Mobile Content

These location sections allow you to put in the content you want your visitors to see when they visit the particular branch or store location.

Editing a Location Profile

To edit the profile of an existing location, select the location you want to edit from your current list of locations to open its profile. You can do so by double clicking the location you want to edit or by clicking on the magnifying glass at the bottom of the screen.

Inside the Location Profile page, click the Pencil icon found on the top right section of the screen to open the Location Edit page.

The Location Edit page, lets you type in the information you want to set for each data field. It also gives you the ability to determine whether pricing will be allowed for a particular location. To enable pricing, just click on the Pricing Enabled checkbox.

The Location Edit page also provides a feature that lets you set a Primary Contact for a particular Location.

The contact can be selected from your current list of users. To set a contact, click the Add button [..] found beside the Primary Contact field to bring up your list of users.

Select your contact of choice and it will automatically be added to your location.

Adding a Business Contact

The Location profile section also gives you the capability to add a list of Business Contacts. These contacts are listed primarily in your site’s Web Admin.

To add a Business Contact, click the Add Button [+] at the bottom of the screen. This will bring up the Add/Edit Business Contact window.

You’ll be asked to select a Business Entity (based on the information sourced from the Businesses section). You also have the option to select from your list of registered user. If you choose not to select from your current users, you can type in the following details manually:

  • Name
  • Business Email
  • Phone
  • Title

To save the changes made to your Location Profile, click the Disk icon located at the top right section of the page.
