ECommerce - Accounts - Create Referral Types

Referral Types can be seen in your website’s Contractor Referral page. These represent the type of work or specialty that a particular customer in your listing is able to do. More than one Referral Type can be assigned per customer.

The Referral Types window will appear on the right of your screen. Similar to the Referral Regions feature, every referral type will display the following information:

• ID
• Name
• Sorting Sequence

The Referral Types table also has a search function that allows you to search through your listing. Searching can be done using the region’s ID number or Name.

Adding a Referral Type

To add a new Referral Type, select the ECommerce tab on the left of your screen to access its menus. Click the arrow beside the Contractor Referrals link to bring down its sub-menus and select Referral Types.

Click the Add button (+) located at the top-right section of your screen.

In the Referral Type Add screen, input the function or specialty you want to add to your Contractor Referral page by typing it in the Name Field.

If you want your Referral Types to be sorted in a specific sequence, put in the number of the new type in the Sorting Sequence field.

Once done, click the Save button (disk icon) on the upper right corner to save your work.

To delete a particular Referral Type, go back to the main page and select the Referral Type you want to remove from your list. Click the Delete (x) button found at the top right section of the screen to delete the Referral Type.
