E-Commerce Email Templates - Contact Us Submitted

The Contact Us Submitted email template under the Ecommerce section serves the same purpose as the Contact Us email template found in the App Core section of your Configuration setting.

The difference between the two is the URL directory of these pages. The App Core Contact Us page is located in your standard Home folder while the E-commerce Contact Us page can be found in your website’s Ecommerce Home folder.

Aside from displaying the standard Contact Us fields, the Ecommerce version allows its email template to display specific Business Locations which were created directly in your Web Admin’s Ecommerce section.

The Ecommerce Contact Us email template displays the following details based on your website’s online form:

• Name
• Phone
• Email

The Comments section displays the concern or request coming from the customer who wants to get in touch with your company.

Be sure not to alter the template’s Defined Variables. These are the text found in the brackets ([[=sample text/variable]]). These system-defined variables will change based on the customer’s information. For an in-depth look at what these variables are, you can check our post here.
