E-Commerce Email Templates - Order Submit to Support Exported

The Order Submit to Support Exported email template is sent to your web administrator once an order has been submitted to your server and is ready for importing.

Majority of the template is similar to the Order Submit to Clerk Exported email template. What sets it apart is that it displays the Status of the exported order and an Error message should the export turn out to be unsuccessful.

Aside from the Status and Error fields, this email template displays a number of information used to process the customer’s order request including:

  • Email - The customer’s e-mail address.
  • Order Number - The order number generated by the system.
  • Customer Account - Displays the customer number and name associated with the user account.
  • Order Description - A description provided by the user for the order made.
  • Date Placed - The date the quote was requested.
  • Comments - Additional comments provided by the customer.
  • SalesPersons - The sales person assigned to the registered user.

The Order Submit to Support Exported email template also has a section that displays the list of items ordered by the customer along with the following product details:

  • SKU
  • Item Description
  • Unit Price
  • Quantity
  • Sub-Total

The total balance of all the products ordered by the customer can be found after this section.

To avoid any problems when sending out your e-mail templates, be sure not to alter the text found in the brackets ([[=sample text/variable]]) or the String Formats.
