E-Commerce Email Templates - Quote Submit to Support Exported

The Quote Submit to Support Exported email template is sent to your website administrator once a quote has been submitted to your server for importing.

Majority of the template is similar to the Quote Submit to Clerk Exported email template. What makes them different is that this email displays the Status of the exported quote and an Error message if the exporting of the quote is unsuccessful.

Aside from the Status and Error fields, the Quote Submit to Support Exported email template displays a number of information used to process the customer’s quote submission including:

  • Email - The customer’s e-mail address.
  • Quote Number - The quote number generated by the system.
  • Customer Account - Displays the customer number and name associated with the user account.
  • Quote Description - A description provided by the user for the order made.
  • Date Placed - The date the quote was requested.
  • Comments - Additional comments provided by the customer.

The Quote Submit to Support Exported email template also has a section that displays the list of items added by the customer along with the following product information:

  • SKU
  • Item Description
  • Unit Price
  • Quantity
  • Sub-Total

The last section of the email template shows the total balance of all the products added by the customer to the requested quote.

Be sure not to alter the template’s Defined Variables. These are the text found in the brackets ([[=sample text/variable]]). These system-defined variables will change based on the customer’s information. For an in-depth look at what these variables are, you can check our post here.
