Gallery Management

The Gallery Management feature gives you the capability to set up a gallery of images and display them on your website. Images can be organized by folders for easier management and viewing.

In a gallery, you can have more than one folder. The main folders can also contain sub-folders. Sub-folders can be created the same way as main folders. The only difference is you need to select and open a main folder first before creating your sub-folders.

Setting Up a Gallery Page

To set up a gallery, open your website’s Web Admin and select the Gallery Management link located under the Website tab. The Gallery Management section will come out on the right side of the screen.

Select the Albums directory and click on the New Folder button to create a folder to store your images. This will serve as the main folder and will appear under the Albums directory. Again, you can have more than one main folder in your gallery. Select the folder you created and click the Upload File button. This button is what you’ll use to upload your images. Repeat as many times as needed to upload your images to your folder.

The same steps apply should you want to upload your images to a sub-folder that’s located in one of the main folders you’ve created.

Images in a gallery can be magnified to a bigger resolution by either clicking the image directly or by selecting its file name (beside the magnifying glass icon).

Deleting an Image

To delete an image from your gallery, just select the image you want to remove and click the Delete Item button. This will delete the image permanently. Be advised that once an image has been deleted, it cannot be recovered.
