My Account - Activate or Reject a User Account
IBOS gives you the capabilities to activate or reject users that have registered for a commercial account. This can be done through its Activate Users feature. The feature can be found in your site’s My Account section.
To access the new registration requests, open your website’s My Account page. Click the Activate Users link under the IBOS header to open up the Activate Accounts page.
Activate Accounts Section
The Activate Accounts page will display the list of users with pending registration requests.
The list also displays the following information about a particular user:
- User Name
- First Name
- Last Name
- E-mail Address
- Additional Info - Displays the customer information linked to the commercial account.
To view more details about a user and to accept or reject the request for account activation, click on a User Name to open the Activate User section.
Activate User Section
The Activate User section displays the information provided by users during the registration process. Similar to the Activate Accounts page, you get to see the following information: User Name, First Name, Last Name, and E-mail Address. You also get to see the user’s complete address.
Below the information, you’ll be given the option to accept or reject a user’s request for account activation.
To approve a user’s request for activation, just click the Accept Button.
This will automatically activate the account and prompt the system to send a corresponding e-mail to the registered user and web administrator confirming the activation.
To decline the user’s request for activation, you’ll need to click the Reject button to decline the user’s registration request.
The Activate User section now comes with a revamped Reject section which utilizes the pre-formatted messages created using the Rejection Message feature found in your website’s Web Admin. The feature gives you the ability to create more than one decline message, with each one being displayed in the Reject drop-down menu.
In case you want to delete the account from your list after rejecting its registration request, be sure to check the Delete User Account checkbox before clicking the Reject button.
