My Account - Emulate Customer

The Emulate Customer feature lets you simulate a particular customer, giving you the ability to access and view that customer’s account information even if that customer is not registered under your user account.

This feature can be useful particularly if you need to view another customer’s business account and you don’t know that customer’s username and password.

To emulate a customer, go to your website’s My Accounts page and select the Emulate Customer link found under the Management header.

This will take you the to Emulate Customer page. Enter the Customer Account Number of the customer you want to emulate then click the Emulate button.

The system will confirm that you are emulating the customer you selected. After confirmation, you can start viewing that customer’s Business Account Dashboard. This includes all the available account information such as the customer’s quotes, orders, statements, invoices and jobs.

The general information of the customer (Customer Name, Billing Address) you are emulating will also be displayed in the My Account Dashboard.

To stop emulating a customer, click the Stop Emulating link located under the Management header.
