My Account - Emulate User

The Emulate User feature allows you to simulate or “emulate” a user, giving you the capability to view that user’s account along with the information made only accessible to that particular user.

To use the Emulate User feature, go to your website’s My Account page and select Emulate User under the IBOS header.

This will take you to the Emulate User page. Enter the Username of the registered user that you want to emulate in the field provided and then click the Emulate button.

If the username you entered is valid, the system will confirm that you are emulating the selected user. From here, you can start viewing that user’s account information, including both current and historical billing details, statements, jobs, orders, invoices and quotes dating back to year.

Emulating a user will still allow you to view customer accounts that require activation.

To stop emulating a user, click the Stop Emulating User link to stop the feature.
