My Account - IBOS

The IBOS section found My Account page provides a number of sections that enables you to view and activate the user accounts registered by your customers in your website. It also gives you the ability to emulate a specific user account in the event that you need to check on their accounting and billing details.

All these features can be accessed depending on your account’s administrative functions.

Dashboard

The Dashboard directs you to the IBOS Home section. Designed for viewing purposes only, the page lets you see the number of user accounts that are currently in queue for account activation.

Activate Users

The Activate Users page displays the list of users with pending request for account activation. If you are given administrative rights, this section also gives you the capabilities to approve or reject a user’s request for activation.

To activate an account, click on the user requesting for account activation. In the Activate User page, select the Accept button. This will activate the account and prompt the system to send an e-mail notification informing the user that his or her account has been activated.

To reject a user’s request for account activation, click the Reject button. You will need to provide a reason as to why the request was declined since this will be included in the e-mail notification that will be sent to the user. This can be done manually or by using one of your pre-formatted Reject messages. These messages can be created in Web Admin.

As part of the rejection process, you have the option to delete the user account upon rejecting the activation request. This can be done by checking the Delete User Account check box.

Emulate User

The Emulate User feature gives you the ability to simulate a particular user account. Once you’ve selected a user to emulate, you gain access to the user’s business accounts, including the user’s invoices, jobs, orders, quotes, and statements.

This feature is perfect if you need to validate any particular information from a user’s My Account page such as the user’s orders, quotes, and statements requests.

To emulate a user, just type in the user’s username and click Emulate. Once you’re done, you can click the Stop Emulating link in the left-hand navigation.
