The Get Status feature allows customers to get the latest update regarding the orders they’ve placed. Since the standard order process takes 24 hours, customers will only be able to see updates about their orders - if there any - on the following day.

The Get Status feature keeps them from waiting that long by providing them with the means to get the latest status about their orders.

Status Keys Definitions

The Get Status feature has three types of status keys which customers can refer to for their orders’ current status:

  • Open - Company has received the order request.
  • Picked - Products are now being selected or "picked" from the product inventory.
  • Staged - Orders are ready for dispatch and/or scheduled for delivery.

Using the Get Status Feature

The Get Status feature works once you click on the Get Status button located in the Status column. Once selected, the Order Status Request pop-up window will appear.

The pop-up window will display the current order status as well as the Expected ship date. After closing the Order Status Request window, the new status will automatically be displayed in the Orders table.

Aside from the Order Status, the Expected Ship Date column will also be updated to reflect the date when the order is expected to be delivered.
