My Account - Registration

The Registration process gives your customers the ability to set up an account that will give them access to your website’s Product Catalog and My Account section. Registration for an account depends on whether your site accepts Open Web Accounts or Commercial Accounts.

Open Web Account

An Open Web Account allows anyone who has a credit card to register. This account is primarily used for just purchasing products from your website.

Customers who want to register for an Open Web Account just has to accomplish the online registration form to process the request. Once the form has been filled up, customers will be able to request for quotes and submit orders. An email will also be sent to confirm the registration of the new account.

Commercial Account

The Commercial Account on the other hand, is a full account with more privileges that requires Administrator approval first before it can be used.

Customers who want a Commercial Account must supply the account number from their monthly statement in order to start the registration process.

To register, customers can go to your site and click the Register or My Account link. If an Open Account is available, they can choose between that and a Commercial Account. If not, your customers will be directed to the Log In page so they can access the “Register Now! ” Create myAccount” button and start the registration process.

Customers will be asked to fill up the following online forms to complete the registration.

Once the required information has been submitted, customers will be sent an email to confirm their registration request. After confirmation, the registration request will be forwarded to your team for review. After the review, an email notification will be sent to inform them whether the registration request was accepted or declined.
