My Account - Setting a Default User Account

IBOS offers the option of setting a particular customer as a user’s default account. The switching of a customer account can done using your website’s Web Admin or My Account page.

To set a particular customer as a user’s default account, your user account must have more than one customer under its name. To validate this, go to your website’s Web Admin and click the Accounts tab and select Users.

In the Users window, look for the account you want to update and open its profile. In the User Profile window, check if the user you selected has been assigned any customers.

Notice that if you have more than one customer account under your name, one is automatically set as a default. Normally, the first customer account assigned to you serves the default account.

If you wish to change the default customer account, there are two ways to do that - one is through Web Admin and the other is via My Account.

Changing the Default Customer Account - WEB ADMIN

Registered users can change their default customer account provided they have access to the Web Admin section.

To set a customer as the default account, open your User Profile and select the account you want to set as default. This will bring up the Edit Account link window.

In the Edit Account link window, check the IsDefault checkbox to set the customer as the new default account.

Changing the Default Customer Account - MY ACCOUNT

Registered users who do not have access to your Web Admin can change their default customer account through the My Account page.

To switch to a different account, click the View Other Accounts button found on the top right portion of the screen. This button will only appear if you have more than one customer account under your name.

In the View Other Accounts table, select the customer you want to set as your default account.

Once you’ve made a selection, click the Set as Default Account button at the top portion of the page to set the chosen customer as the default account.

Whenever you log into the website, the account information of the customer that was set as the “default account” will now be displayed in the My Account page.
