Newsgroup Management

IBOS gives you the ability to create newsletters and post them on your website to better engage your customers by informing them of the latest company news or product offerings that you may have.

Now before publishing your news updates, you will need to set up a News Group first. This is important since this feature will help you organize your news items by allowing you to create specific groups designed for specific news write-ups. The News Group you create will appear on your website’s product page, above the news items.

Creating a News Group

To create a new group, click the News Groups link located in the Website tab.

When the News Groups window appears, click the Add News Group (+) icon on the upper right part of the screen.

Type the name of your News Group in the Name field provided. Click the Save (Disk icon) button to save the group you created.

The group will then be added to your News Groups listing.

Each News Groups has its own Profile page which can be accessed by double-clicking the group’s name.

The Profile page displays the group’s ID number and name. Despite having two data fields on display, only the Name field can be edited. This can be done by clicking the Edit (pencil icon) button on the top right corner of the screen.

Type the new name of the News Group and click the Save button to process the change you made.

The News Group section also comes with two search parameters which you can use to make searching for a specific group quick and hassle-free

  • ID
  • Name
