Sales Widgets can also be configured from your back-end system with the use of a Movement Code. The Movement Code is a code which you have to define and assign to a group of products. Once this is done, products assigned with this movement code will automatically appear in your widgets section.

Setting Up Your Widgets by Movement Code

To use the Movement Code feature, you will need to set up your widgets section by Movement Code in Web Admin. Open the Content Explorer to create a new web page or select an existing one where you want your widgets to appear.

Click the Widgets button found in the Content Editor to open the Widget Manager feature.

From the Choose Widget drop-down list, select Display Products by Movement Code.

After selecting Display Products by Movement Code, the following information related to the widget type you selected will appear:

• Code
• Number of Items Displayed
• Page Size
• Page No.

Type the movement code set for your system in the Code field. You can also define the number of products to be displayed (Number of Items Displayed), the number of products that carry your movement code (Page Size) and the group you want to display (Page No.).

Keep in mind that the number of products to be displayed will be based on the Number of Items and Page No. you’ve set in the Widget Manager window.

Press the Insert Widget button once you’ve defined your settings to insert your widgets into your web page.

Once your widgets section has been created, you will need to manually assign the Movement Code to each product item you want displayed.

Assigning the Movement Code to Display a Product

Once you’ve defined your Movement Code - along with the products you want to assign the code to - in your back-end system, you will need to manually input the movement codes into the selected products through your site’s Web Admin.

This can be done using the product’s Attributes tab.

To access this tab, select the first product you want to edit from the Product Search window.

If you can’t see the other products you selected on the first page, you can always search for them using their SKU or Product Name.

Once you’ve selected your first product, open its Profile Page and select its Attributes tab.

In the Attributes Tab, click the Attribute Name drop-down list and select the Movement Code you’ve set in your back-end system:

After setting your Attribute Name, move to the Attribute Value drop-down list and select the value you’ve set:

Once you’re done, click the Save button to save the attributes you’ve assigned. Make sure to do this for each product you want to display on your Widgets section.
